All of the Cowboy Action gun carts that I have seen - maybe 20 all together, have the muzzles up. They have large wheels and a case in the bottom for
ammo for each gun - 2 handguns in cases, shotgun, & usually 2 rifles, one in pistol ctg. & the other for the Sunday challenge match which is usually set
up for longer ranges from 50 meters to 200 or 300 meters on animal silhouettes.

Although that may be legal in Cowboy Action, this is a Field Target section, so one would have to assume field target rules. I know it is common, but I would not feel comfortable wheeling that cowboy action cart around, with two rifles aimed right at me.

Tom, I really like the way the end of the barrel is not only down, but the way you have it, even if the gun fired, the pellet would not escape. Of course this is assuming a pellet gun under 20 fpe.

No, when we shoot in the woods, the gun and bottle can be pretty heavy to carry around. [emoji12]

Tom, thank you for sharing your project. Im sure it will inspire others as well. I would also like to thank you for taking the comments about the muzzle in stride.......some people wouldn't take it as well as you did. Cant wait to see your next project!!!

Looks like you thought of everything, Tom. Nice project that will certainly make things easier on the courses. Nice thing is that with muzzle down, you will be able to take the gun off the cart safely and get to your spot on the line before pointing down range. Great job!

Do you have velcro on the bottom of your pellet tins? That would insure they do not vibrate out on a rough path.
