the daisy real name Winchester 500XS is a very very good gun.
Either versions of the guns are great but im sure the 500XS is only the detuned Hatsan 35.
I have the Winchester 500XS hatsan version and it shoots a very hard 500fps. only down side to me was the trigger is plastic when everything else is so nicely made also for the first 1,000 shots the cocking was pretty hard.

the scope works very well i would put it above the Crosman 4x32 for sure.
well i payed in the end $170.00 for it. but i say it was worth every penny you get what you pay for in this gun for sure.
Not much recoil, good power, very accurate, has a nice feel to it.
stock was a little short for me though.

Yea, nice gun for sure. Amazingly accurate, hitting pop cans a 30 yds is no problem, even with iron sights. The power leaves something to be desired, mine will hit 400 fps with Diabolo Standards. So I wouldnt use for hunting, but if you are looking for a low-budget plinker/target gun, this is the one to get.

I also only have seen, and heard of winchester's / hatsan's hitting at a very hard 500 fps.
