For my .22: JSB Exact Kodiak Logun Penetrator CP All these pellets yield similar results when I dial them in. BTW: Hello Canada. This is my first post here. |

they seems to work well with all the guns that I tried. Otherwise usually every barrel performs quite different from one pellet to the next, no matter even from the same manufacture of guns or pellets ..... gonna have to agree with sniper, JSBs are the bomb digity. |

"Skenco" type 1's, are my choice for hunting, you cant beat the penetrating power of these lead free pellets, a little pricey, but for when you want that first shot to be the last shot, I go with these. Next choice for shear power, I like the "Crosman" Pointed, with "Gamo MasterPoints/Magnums" coming in next. I have found that "Beeman Lasers", and "Beeman SilverBears" to be a great choice for increasing M/V in Velocity challenged guns. Out of all the .22 pellets that I've tried,"Daisy PrecisionMax" to be the worst., but then again" To each his Own", My worst, could be someone else's best. |

I find that with my 2240 (24" barrel, 2289 hammer spring, Crosman $15 4x scope) The JSB Predators fly tiny bit to the upper left, while Skenco T1 goes way upper left. (I managed to find the aiming spot for it) Crosman Premier HP hits right on the cross hair (dead center) Maybe it's because I zeroed my scope using the premiers. But man those Skenco T1's are killers ! I had a 17 lb. coon with 2289 (24" barrel, plugged bleed and 50 pumps) The green plastic jacket was almost all the way in the scalp (The core went in the dome.) It was an instant kill with it bleeding from mouth and ears (Brain shot) 10 meters hitting a penny taped to the bush is easy with the premiers. I think I will do my zeroing with Skenco T1's next time. |

H&N Silver Point have given the best accuracy in my guns. They are also the easiest loading pellet that I have tried. (not counting round balls) |

I dont know about your gun but out of mine the crosman premiers are cheap and i cant get them to group under a 4 inch spread at 20 yards. |

I like the Xisico "PEAK" wadcutter pellets, but I have to get them on mail order. The Crosman 'Competition' wadcutters yeilded good results, but I can never find them locally anymore. My last option is Crosman Premier HP pellets (Tinned) from Canadian Tire. However, I have to be pretty desperate for pellets to pay $12.99/500, and have the least acceptable accuracy out of all three. |
