Nobody told me that getting into this hobby would be this addictive.....my collection is growing faster than I would ever have anticipated. Everytime I see a model and read about it I'm compulsive in a way that I must get it :)

Is this normal? Well, my justification is that I should have a gun for each feature: Blowback, semi, full automatic, pistol, BB, Pellet, etc....

Curious how many you all have in your collection?

Besides these wall decorations, I also have maybe 5 or 7 in the cases... I never intended to count the number out clearly... :D

I went through the same path as you ~ That's very normal... But one day you will find the true love ( maybe not only one... pretty sure not only one ~ lol), and stick to it and slow down the speed to buy new guns...

( Or say, the gun you want to buy will be more expensive, and take you more time to save up the coffee money to get it.... So you have to slow down.... lol)

I doubt this topic will ignite the ppl here to start posting their collections.... Cheers ~Image

Don't know?
Still buying, slowed down some,
But still don't have them all!
Only been collecting about three years!

How do you all store your guns? I'm envisioning a full wall, or a walk in closet - just like in the movies :D

Walk in closet is the best way....

Your wife have one for her bags and shoes, then you have one for the firearms just fair ~ lol

This is just not true! Everyone warns the new guys about this! I've warned several people myself but they didn't listen and now it's too late  you're already on the slope and it's very slippery and you're gaining speed.
Very few people can control the addiction (I don't think it's possible and if it is please don't tell my wife).
I have no idea exactly how many airguns I own right now. Somewhere between 70 and 90 I guess (I can't have more than 90 and if I do, again, please don't tell my wife). You think you got this under control. You're saying to yourself "just this one new rifle that has features that I've never tried" and then it comes out in pistol and then there's the PCP stuff than can end up costing big $$$ and good luck if you get your finger in the replica thing.
The thing is those damn manufacturers keep coming out with cool new stuff that you just gotta have.

Let me tell you a story.
Just a few weeks ago my mother was going to the US with my son so I'm placing an order at PA but I was having a really hard time choosing between the Crosman DPMS SBR and the AirVenturi Hellboy because I can't buy both, that would be too much right? Then I look where they're going and they'll be 8 minutes away from the Kittery Trading Post (look it up, it's a great place if you're ever on the east coast) and what do you know they have the Hellboy in stock!!! So of course I call them and had them put the last one aside for my father in law to pick-up and I now have 2 more airguns in the collection.
And next month SigSauer is bringing out the M17. I was able to restrain myself from buying the P320 because the ejection port is molded into the slide, it didn't have a full size mag and it can't be field striped but the new M17 has all those features but still has blowback and I can add a micro red dot on it so you can bet it will be coming home before christmas!!!

Resistance is futile. Just plan more space for future buys. I tought I would be plenty good with my first cabinet, then a bigger real safe and some other creative storage solutions but I'm still missing some storage space.
I'm just kidding with the wife thing, she's your best ally, get her shooting. She doesn't even need to like it she just has to understand it and has long as you don't piss her off each time she buys a new purse, pair of shoes, has her nails or hair done. Next time she spends 200$ on some stuff you have zero use for, you can proudly tell her you only spent 140$ on your last airgun!

Good luck
