Wow :shock:

There is definetly something bad happening in your loading/breech area while loading the pellet, that is quite substantial deformation...

have you had the gun apart to inspects the intrnals in the loading area? and/or the barrel?

I have and it,s been repaired. Apparently the transfer port when it was drilled, leave,s a sharp edge that catches the pellet head of some "not all" pellet,s. Crossman,s are the worst for this. Also the barrel is off center to the breach port just enough to catch the leading edge of the pellet before entering the barrel, just enough to distort it in advance of the transfer port which causes it to catch even more when it passes the transfer port. I smoothed that out as well, and everything is nice and smooth now. Accuracy has improved greatly.
