Anybody know any good online stores for purchasing airguns in canada?

Airgun Source, Canada Shooting Supply and Wes here on the forum (Airgunarcheryfun.ca) all did me good. Look after their stuff if you run into a problem and need some help. CHEERS!

Really, he will charge you GST even if you don't have to pay it where you live?

Sounds fishy to me, is that even legal?

I have dealt with Airgunsource, Canada Shooting Supply (both out of ON), D&L (BC), Airgun & Archery (Sask), and Replica Airguns (BC). All are good to deal with. Wes at Airgun & Archery replies the fastest to inquiries. Some of the others can get a little backed up if it is near the holidays or there is a sale going on, but never more than a couple of days.

And Princess Auto has some great deals on airguns, and their shipping is reasonable. Their selection can change a lot from month to month, depending on what their buyer can find.

I also hear Londero Sports in Quebec are good to deal with, but have not bought anything from them.

Also, don't forget about Cabela's although some of their prices are a bit higher, they sometimes have some great sales, and sometimes offer free shipping.

Both Princess Auto & Cabela's have stores all across Canada, so they may be in your area.

Finally, don't overlook your local gun & archery stores. Many sell airguns, but will not stock them, if no one buys from them!


I concur with Tallieho1 and some of the others, as I tried to buy from Oshoot, but he only wants to sell to Ontario residents. He say he must charge 13% Ontario HST even if you don't reside in Ontario. He said he is only set up to charge 13% HST. He sounded like he only really cares to sell to Ontario. Too complicated for him to change the tax on his computer. So if you live outside of ON be prepared to pay 8% more when buying from Oshoot. Also, because they are only a reseller for Pyramyd Air & don't stock inventory, they don't really want returns. Interesting how their prices are usually more than other online retailers that actually incur the expense of carrying inventory.

I know this post will be deleted soon, because someone with a finger on the delete button will not allow anyone to speak the truth about them.

Fishy for sure..I told him,i was an Alberta resident.He sent some BS Govt. link..To file a claim.hIS COMMENT,WHEN I SAID DON'T ADD IT TO MY BILL.HE WAS A SMALL BUSINESS & COULDN'T AFFORD AN ACCTONTANT.I talked to the govt. about his practice..????

But I recommend, Mr Marvin, Wes ( Airgun Archery), Raman ( CSS ), AGS, D&L. Wes and Raman go above and beyond.

As for O shoot. I just don't like how he conducts himself on this site. He has this God type personality that he's never wrong. Publicly calling people idiots and morons. Since being on this site, I cannot say one person ever recommended shopping at his store.

Yes, I did not mention, Mr. Marvin is the guy to start with if you are in the market for old & vintage airgun. He carries some real oldies that many have never seen before. I thought I had some older airguns in my collection, from the 60's & 70's, but his makes mine look modern, as some of his are pre-WW 2.

Just be aware that he may be a snowbird, so he may not be around in the winter.

I concur with what others say about Oshoot. It's just too bad, because the idea is good (i.e. Canadian reseller for Pyramyd). It's just the way he goes about his business that seems to rub people the wrong way. My dad always said, "you can catch a lot more flies with honey than you do with vinegar". But that's what happens in a free market society. Everyone has the option to do business as they see fit.

This dissing was ended once before.
It's pretty obvious who's starting it up again,
If I have to end it, the end will include a ban.
Even though some are under the impression that no one gets banned.

I've purchased a few rifles, scopes and pellets from D&L, as well as scopes and pistols from Wes.

I am VERY happy with both dealers.
