Post subject: .22 Barrel on a .177 NP Powerplant

I wasn't sure if it would work so I had to try it. I put the .22 Phantom 500 barrel on the .177 Nitro Venom tube.New block washers and then put it back in the phantom stock.Shoots very well with a very secure lockup.Barrel stays in any position after cocking.Just the way I like it.

Shoots 14.3s at 703 fps....better than many other Pal rated .22 springers I've seen reviewed.
More fpe than the original NP .177 setup so its a keeper.

Bottom is the hybrid

Good job, I was wondering if that would work.I'm done with .177 calibre so I want to swap my barrel for a .22 also.I have the pal rated Optimus in .177.Soon to be .22

Any machining, routing, or curse words uttered.lol, or did it go together fairly easy?
