Hi, could someone please tell me (or point me to where I can find out) what the length (or coil count) of a QB78D hammer spring is?
My reason for the question is because my rifle currently has a spring in it that was reduced in size to bring it back below 500fps.
I have quite a few springs in my "bits and bobs" box and don't want to buy what I've already have in my possession :D

The stock replacement spring I got for my QB78 has 20 coils, 0.046'' diam. wire, and is about 2.340'' in length when uncompressed. In the picture you see it (the upper one), compared to a M4-177 hammer spring, which is about 1/4'' longer and has 0.034'' diam. wire. FYI, the M4 spring physically fits over the spring guide in the QB.

Thank you "airmec" that's just what I needed. I have found one that is almost a perfect match.
It is the right wire diameter and 19 coils instead of 20 but just .023 shorter in length. So I think that is close enough. Thanks again.
