I'm not really a fan of the Jim Shocky but I've been watching one on clearance sale at my local Canadian Tire as its price dropped each week from the original price of $399.99

Today I noticed it was down to $179.99
Yes!

sadly there were none in stock... [emoji17]

Maybe I can find one somewhere else on clearance...

Is it a piston type air rifle? It looks like a Umerex Surge style stock, and the surge was always 125. at Wally World. I don't think that much of Shockey to pay 399 for his branded gun. That would buy you a scoped Hatson or CZ with change for ammo.

the link does not work.

Sounds like the Shockey I got (Legacy) - retail for $399, on clearance for $249 a few months back and I am happy.

$179 is great!

It does not like Premier Pointed but CP HP are very good. Great scope included too ~ 3-9x 40 Center-Point

The new Legacy is a std B18 Crosman like the Venom and many other Cros/Benj guns. Diff is mainly the plastic barrel, and I guess an expensive signature of some guy nobody wants?
The Surge is a clone of the Diana 34.
Since CA can't have the suppressor then the new fangled Legacy barrel is somewhat pointless. I still like brakes or whatever that make the barrel fatter for cocking so you still have that, but I have no idea about the quality of the bore under that plastic. Plus if the muzzle has damage I guess you're screwed? Otherwise all the classic Crosman stuff like trigger, nitro, scope etc are the same.
The original Legacy of ~15yrs ago from was different, classic looking gun w/ nice wood stock and apparently 100% US made. If you ever see a used one I'd grab it. It was actually the gun the NP2 is based on, so the NP2 is a stroked magnum version with a nitro.

Pink: Have you tuned that thing yet? ;)
