Joined a few years back but have never been really active but I do a lot of reading on this forum.
Bought a 1322 a few months back and have been doing research on it. It has a steel breach but is otherwise completely stock. Have always used synthetic auto trans fluid as lubricant for moving parts and piston cup. It is sealed properly. Anyways the valve holds air at 12 pumps and is good for a second shot. Is there something wrong? I have no way of checking speed but from 5 yards it does bury an old crosman wadcutter about 3/4" in soft wood and the second shot leaves an imprint a good 1/8" deep.
Any idea what kind of fps I'm seeing? Looking for some answers from someone who has a lot more experience with this.

The last stock 13-22 I bought wasn't too bad for velocity out of the box new. I was getting 460-470 with a 14.3 gr dome at the factory recommended 8 pumps. it seems crosman has done away (touch wood) with the bleed vent hole on these newer versions.

With the heavy factory poppet return spring, and no bleed vent, you are likely to see retained air at 12 pumps. I doubt if anythings other than factory design.

Current market prices for an F-1 chrony retail seem to be around 125-135~ a worthy investment if you are going to get into modifying your 13 series gun...
