Hi folks,

I wanted to mount a spare UTC red dot I had (which is said to have an "integral Picatinny-Weaver mount base") on top of a Umarex Browning Buck Mark URX which has, I believe, a Weaver rail. It doesn't fit because the red dot requires two slots located 40mm apart, while the slots on the gun rail are spaced 22 or 44mm apart.

Is there an adaptor (or a spacer) I can use to fix this? If so, which model?

Why not just grab a round file and file in a new notch or widen a existing one? They are just there to prevent it from shifting forward. Only need one. Or none really on that low power air pistol.

Rotate the pins around on the scope. Maybe one or both has a flat on it. Like said above, you only really need one in the groove to prevent it from slipping.

Thanks for the suggestions. For the sake of simplicity (or lazyness), I ended up ordering another red dot but with a Weaver mount.

You know weaver will have cross pin as well.. A file and 2 mins of work and that reddot would been mounted.

Its a 60$ air pistol and once mounted, you would not even see the cut.
