It's so stiff to move back and fourth, should I put some silicone grease on it, or sand the tube. Does grease play well with plastic?

You put a commercial stock on a milspec buffer tube or other way around?

How do you put an M4 stock tube on a Discovery?

You can’t buy a single airgun for everything. Golfers use many different clubs, airgunners need more than one gun

I'm using a Tippmans 98 stock and the adapter on the discovery wont fit anything else but that tube.

Well 2240/2260/Maximus/Disco.. All use the same size tube.

Pull out the lever to collapse the stock, and pull off the stock from the tube and see if its leaving marks were its binding.

I assume you used the tippmans kit?

I'm talking about the stock not sliding on the plastic buffer tube.

Yes I know... If you can get it off, then it cannot be that bad.

Usually the bind up around the square channel, or the lock nub isn't disengaging all the way.

I had really had to pull on it to come off. how would I attach a mill spec to it? A real one would be nice.

This might slide better.

Depends if its molded as a mil spec or commercial buffer tube. I would put money down as it being commercial. Its just the dia of the tube is slightly different. So if you try and put a milspec on a commercial tube it would be tighter.

But Im just sure its warped somewheres. That it needs to be sanded down.

Ill give it a look over, with some sand paper. I'm going to phone one of these places and find out.

White grease is ok for ABS. Check for binding, flash, or sprue cuts. Make sure the lever is moving the catch all the way.

In stock and free shipping in Canada for 75$ or over before tax

I can confirm the diameter is 29.5mm/1.161" so closer to commercial spec.

If your stock is Mil-Spec, then it will not slide well over these metal tubes for the Tippmann.
