Found myself a cookie case, moved all the duct seal from the Gen-II and add one more brick, looks more portable now and also works great ~

But noticed one problem... The duct seals are too heavy, and the sheet metal box looks not strong enough.... Need to be careful to use the corner spots to move the box... ImageImage

I think your best bet is to buy a purpose build trap. If you are inclined you can make a very solid trap from a few pieces of wood and screws. I made mine from 12" wide x 3/4" thick pine board and it's holding up very well. 8" wide board would be more than enough. I expect it to last more than 10 years. Total cost was under $20.

I have a small trap comes with my MOD-25, but not the size I want...

The Gen-I is a paper cartoon box, then I used wood to make my Gen-II.

And the advantage of this Gen-3 is I have a cap and can cover it totally when not in use...

And the cost is zero, then I have some extra fun when building some useful from the useless ~ [emoji16]

I agree what jack said. Get some even 1/2" pine and build a box. This one I made with rubber mulch. But I got tired of patching it up, to keep the mulch from coming out. I just ran 1x2 across to stick cardboard to put my targets on.

I just got tired of homemade jobies and bought some.

I picked up a Remington one from PA for like 20$, put some duct seal in it. so thats in my basement for the chrony range.

Than I bought a 22 rimfire one for 40$, that I use for if I want to shoot outside or not chrony. I really don't need one outside, but I just want to be safe than sorry.
