to shoot where you want to shoot without using the sights??

Just with your feelings or maybe 'force'?!

An very obvious example... Using double guns... plus shooting left and right two directions.....

Anyone try that with the gun you already shot thousands shots, you can shoot something without using the sight?

Called instinctive shooting. And yes can be done.

Sure you can. Enough shots and you can shoot anything. I know a bow shooter who uses no bow sights and he is absolutely deadly any distance to 50 feet. Hit a tennis ball every shot to 50 feet. He said he will enter competitions when he can hit golf ball spots. I told him he is ready to enter now as I have never seen a better instinctive shooter at different distances in real life ever. CHEERS!

Cowboys shooting from the hip is a real thing. Can be fast and accurate.

All comes down to muscle memory.

It's not with a gun or rifle. But I've always been in awe over the capabilities of Lars Andersen with a bow. Talk about "muscle memory...I'm sure there are a few video of person capable of performing trick shots with a firearm. But this guy's got talent!!!
He has a few vids all worth watching.

Use your trigger finger as to point along the frame like you’re pointing where you want to shoot
Heard it works

True it is instinctive shoot (in Spain) its used by army, and security forces as basic training, need a lot of shootings like that to a rapid reaction and get other level with the feeling of the weapon

Any airguns?

It looks some of you have been shooting with the same guns for thousands shots, can you have some muscle memory to shoot the gun without use the sight?!

I have one P17 ( with slide extender), one HW40, and only one slide extender which I need to use left hand index finger to release the top frame lock ( the fake hammer).... My musle memory only let me do this when I use the HW40 without the extender... then use the right hand thumb to press it when shooting the P17 which with the extender.... [emoji29]

Question is why? Its not for super precise shooting. A lot do it for steel targets etc.

The no sights shooting Ive done been speed shooting against fairly large targets or NV shooting at silhouettes. Where I used my index finger on my left supporting hand to point.

I used to shoot IPSC, so at closer range I just pointed and shot, rather than aiming and firing. Not really going to miss at 2M.

The muscle memory is more for your hands/arm to stop in the same area. After awhile drawing and shooting, it just becomes natural and you can shoot without really lining up your sights.

Yeah, I practice this recently after I learnt how to stand and how to hold the gun... I want I can raise the gun from prepare ( pointing the ground in front of me) to the same aiming position ( align the front and rear sights well on eye level ) each time...

But looks still a very far way to go...

I shoot a modified type of PPC shooting. I just picked up a new pistol. That even though been shooting pistols since Ive was 15 and comps when I was 16. Feel like a rookie. When I shoot left or right hand un supported, I'm finding myself looking at the ground trying to line up my wrist, so when I pull up the gun, the sights well in this case a dot is somewhat centered and don't have to chase it around.

Irons I was much faster. I barely even notice the rear sight anymore. But this new dot is taking a bit to get used to. So much nicer to throw a dot on target and shoot. No worrying about cant seeing the sights.
