Finally fill it up today ~

Weighted as 35535 grain..... If all 8 gr 177 pellets, it's 4200 shots!!

Never think about I did so much already!

As I did not start to collect used pellets at the very beginning, and many shots are not recoverable ( shot to the soil, trees, air, lost , fliers, etc....), thinking I should have done around 5000 something .... Just surprised myself.... [emoji15][emoji15]Image

Get a bottle the same and fill it with new ones so you know roughly how much money you spent. LOL

More like close to 4,400 pellets.

Is that including the weight of the bottle? Because that's 5LB of lead.

Oh yeah... Forgot to minus the tare weight ~ lol

And there are some 22 pellets too, but about 80% more should be 177 which mostly I collected from the duct seal back trap that I started shooting indoors in this winter...

Ummm, so it would be about 4000 inside actually I think...

But I shot 5000 shots using pellets is certainly...

That's some hundreds bucks.... This hobby just costed too much ~ need to find some other hobby.... Maybe chest?! Shooting a queen or horse looks interesting.... [emoji16][emoji16]

You can keep it and melt it down to reuse the lead or give it to another member here.

You can use one of her pots or pan too, she'll probably be more than happy to contribute  just be careful to not get lead poisoning.

If your numbers are correct, that is close to 5.0764 pounds, which would cast up 78 shots for my 1850's era hunting rifle.

If you're in the GTA, you are welcome to mine as well. I've got a gallon paint can full of used lead.
