I finally decided to treat myself with good quality air rifles, namely Weihrauch rifles. I ordered two, a HW35E in .177 and a HW85 in .22, both under 500 fps, both break barrel rifles for those who don't know them. I sure don't want to mess them up, so I may need some advices for tuning, and opinions about them, feel free to comment 8)

BTW, Samantha at DLAirgun is a real sweet lady to deal with :)

Yep ~ before I hijack the topic, I need to say if one day I want one serious springer rifle, it must be a HW! Just so impressed by the quality and reliable of this brand name!

And... Samatha is very nice to deal with! Just wondering where's Kelley now? Or they are the same one? ( Because Kelley is same that nice too!) [emoji57] use a new alias as website switched to the next generation?

I believe it's a two-person business, and I have no doubts Kelley is a nice person too! Never saw a negative comment on DLAirgun.

Had the 35E years ago, very nice. If they are <500 fps, hopefully the lower power will mean they are not too jumpy so I would be inclined to leave well alone until a few hundred pellets have gone through them and see how they are then. I don't enjoy opening them up.

Thanks DDtank, I'm taking good notice of your comment :) I'll check if and how much it's dieseling and act accordingly. I wouldn't mind taking them apart, especially if there's an issue to remedy.

Die hübschen Damen sind angekommen!

The pretty ladies have arrived! YEEAAAAH!

I feel a bit uncomfortable though, 'cause I can not shoot them before next week-end :hsmash

What can I say? They're gorgeous, they're superbly finished, they are so niiiice! I also ordered two Hawke Airmax 3-9x40 scopes for them, but now I almost feel like it would be a sin to scope these as they have such good iron sights  Some pics now.

The HW35E:

Wow,both those guns look superb! I especially love the 35 stock! You'll have to let us know how they shoot when he get a chance to try them out. =)

I'd love too, but work and everyday chores are in the way until next week-end. I shot a few shots yesterday ''just to see'', and no signs of dieseling. That's encouraging!

That's pretty cool. Do not see walnut stocks often on air rifles.

That's one of the main reasons why I bought this particular model. You should see it lighted by the sun, it's...ALIVE!!! lol.
