I just bought a HW90 from a guy that is unfired and new. These rifles have a air piston to power it but no main spring. Anyway you can pump up the air pressure in this piston with the factory pump. I can bleed air pressure from the piston but cannot pump air back into the gun.Is anyone familiar with these airguns? This is the first one I ever owned and maybe my last. They say this gun contains a Schrader valve on the inside if that helps. Thanks for any help.

If I understand correctly, you're asking how to cock the gun? The HW90 is a break-barrel air rifle. You cock the piston by grasping the front of the barrel and pulling it in a downward direction.

There's a good chance this is a regulated firearm and requires a PAL to purchase and possess. Check the inscriptions on the breech for a power rating. If it's more than 500 feet per second, you need a gun license.

First you need the fill adapter to connect to the rear of the gun . Once connected pump the ram to the desired pressure . I hope you got the pump with the gun ? If not it’s going to cost you close to 150$ just for the fittings .

HW90 is a high power break barrel gas spring ( actually first time to read about the HW90 and know Weihrauch makes gas spring too...) rifle.

It's just a normal break barrel, not PCP, so no pumps, no fittings...

I think OP is talking about de-cock the gun ( release the air)? And for 're-pump' the air to shoot, as described clearly by Edmondton<500, just 'break' the barrel and cock the gun ( around 50lbs effort is needed)...

It looks OP is very new to air gunning and this HW90 is not an entey level air gun, it's regulated high power rifle and OP should treat it as a real powder burner firearm and need necessary license ( PAL), knowledge and training before handle it.

I just bought HW90 myself. I thought the Patriot was tough to cock but the HW90 is really tough. I like it !
Yes you can adjust the pressure in the ram with the proper fittings and a pump,
I read that a mountain bike tire pump would work. I guess mountain bike pump go up to 300 psi. I see on ebay you can buy from china for about $40.
One day I'll stop at a bike store and check one out.
I think I read somewhere that you should not charge them past 28bar

I’m not sure where the disconnect is here with the OP ‘s original post, with over 1000 posts I highly doubt he is a newbie when it comes to air rifles . He is clearly asking how to recharge the air in the gas ram . There is a small screw in the rear of the action , remove the screw , insert /thread in the fill adapter and pump the ram to no more than 28 bar. If you don’t have the pump or fittings here’s where to go .https://www.bestfittings.co.uk/shop/air ... -pump-kit/

Alright a so we can actually adjust the power of the HW90 with that? Looks it's a very good desigh!

Is that a common function for other gas springers too because I first time heard of it~

Actually been shooting airguns for 55 years, just not the HW90 lol. Have the pump and fitting that came with gun but still cannot increase air pressure in piston at all. Right now there is 14 bar in this gun as I have the guage also. Just wondering if the valve is stuck closed. Gun not much good if the power in not adjustable as it should be.

Are you absolutely sure your pump is good? If you can read pressure coming out you should be able to get air in . Also if you have any type of leak between the pump and rifle it will be near impossible to add air . From what I’ve read 22 to 26 bar seem to be the sweet spot for this rifle at just about 24FPE.

George did you say you can bleed air?
If so I would think the adaptor is'nt on far enough,it screws on right?
When you pump the pressure spikes in the pump but does'nt fill the gun?..kelly

They start burning piston seals above 26 bar although you might find a aftermarket seal that can handle it
Mountainbike shock pump works..kelly
