After months and months of waiting I finally got a .30 700mm Smooth Twist X barrel kit for my Impact. No time to test accuracy until the weekend, But going from a stock st .25 cal to the .30 cal 700mm stx the velocity stayed the same/rose slightly.

I swapped in the new kit/Caliber and crony'd at 837fps with my 830 fps .25 cal settings. The extra length seems to add some nice efficiency. Will do some 50 and 100 yard groups soon. My reg is only at 135 bar so I can power up still if accuracy needs it.

Curios to see how accurate this new stx .30 is compared to my old .25 st barrel. glad its a long weekend

What pellet were you shooting at 830 fps in .25 cal?.... If it was the 34 gr. JSB King, the Sectional Density of that is between the SD of the 45 ad 50 gr. JSB .30 cal pellets.... so getting a very similar velocity would be expected with a similar barrel length.... provide the ports in the valve are big enough for the larger caliber.... If the .30 cal barrel is longer than the .25 cal, that certainly will help as well.... In any case, sounds like you have a nice combination.... :)
