Would I find it to be a very accurate shooter with shoulder stock and intermounts ( for small laser sight) instead of costly steel breech? Cabelas has 1377 American classic for $75.00 free ship ( I'm sure it is Canadian version as it their stock photo) .Would have to get stock and mounts elsewhere. Hopefully 3-4 pumps for 25 feet is ok.

The inter-mount ( the clamp type on the barrel, right?) is a waste of money to me, I tried it and returned in the other day as It's not a good design and can't do the thing it supposed well...

So, you can save more money by skipping this and use the stock peep sight with the plastic breech.

Pumping more is for giving you more muzzle energy. Once you zero the sights well, 3 pumps for 30 feet would not be a problem in accuracy... If that's your only concern ~ ;)

Oh, I forgot the shoulder stock. That's very important and a must have ~ just go for it!

If for a laser sight, maybe It's okay. My problem with it is I wanted to use scope, so it just gave a a hard time to align it and make the 2 mounts to be a good platform for the scope mounts on them...

So, should I assume it will not be as accurate plus more pumping than my HW40 --or S&W 686 for example?

The Crosman Classics are accurate. But I don't think it will be accurate as the HW40.

The accuracy on HW40 is competition grade.

But I am sure you get much stronger hitting power from the 1377 than the HW40.
