Tried these round lead balls instead of flathead pellets in my vintage Crosman Single Action 6 .22 cal CO2 pellet revolver, as they are much easier to load.

Unfortunately, the accuracy of the lead ball was terrible. No consistency. Switched back to flat head pellets after 12 shots, accuracy returned. So I'm thinking it's probably the ammo?

Have not tried them in any other airgun. Just put them away on a shelf.

Anyone have any similar results?

I have an "auto loader" breech for my QB78 which uses round balls, and went with the Gamo ammo because that was the only brand I could find locally.
I wasn't expecting great accuracy, (after all, they're just heavy BBs) and they were not great.
The autoloader worked great with them, though...
Tried them in a few other .22's, but not much difference in accuracy from the QB.

I'll leave the round ammo to the muzzle-loader crowd.

These round lead balls are rather accurate at 25 feet in my Benjamin EB22 pistol, not much difference with the usual Crosman Domed I use. At 40 feet though, they start to spread. I haven't tested at longer range and/or with other air guns.

I was shooting @ 25 ft. with a short barrel rifled pistol.
