I did a string last night and one today. My guess it's sits around 425 ish with 8.2. What does yours shoot at?

First 10 was filled, then sat and loaded my pellet pen for the next 15 shots.

From 2k fill. Left Avg 403 ( 10 shot ) , Right Avg 421 ( 15 shot ) RWS 8.2grn pellet.

Can't explain the higher FPS first shots.

And I thought for a regulated gun. The numbers should be level? When I switched to 7.9s I noticed a curve.

That's the creep. Your pistol apparently has the reg set a little low, with the hammer spring overpowered for that low velocity. Turn the reg up a quarter turn and it should be balanced a bit better and not show the creep as bad, and also get you up to the 460's or so.

As Wes mentioned adjust your regulator , then shoot the crap out of it . After a tin or so it should be broken in and be more consistent . I couldn’t wait and bout a Huma regulator . Now my pistol suffers from single digit spread over a 40 shots .

I adjusted it a wee bit.. Guess I found the right one.

From the test I did with the 7.9 before @1500 PSI avg 445. Turned in the reg 1/4 turn, now avg 480. With numbers fluttering straight ish. Don't have 7.4's but I'm thinking be just below 500. I'm still seeing a slight climb with both pellets but it's not as extreme.

The 8.2 grn seems to avg around 452 now.

Probably needs a little bit more hammer preload for the higher PSI. But probably make it go over. So I say without getting a huma, best It's gonna get.

I think I got it at scopes and ammo when I made an order years ago.

I got the crosman pellet pen in 177, and the AV in 22 cal. But I don't like how long the crosman pellet pen is, when you got it loaded.

But amazon got the AV 22 cal one for 15$, and free shipping over 35$
