Don't know if this has been asked, just want to know if there is restriction in getting a gun stock outside Canada

If you have the shekels to pay for the stock and the shipping costs, you're good to go.
After all, you're only shipping a piece of wood.
There are some seriously nice stocks available, but limited offerings for air rifles...

Pistolero, please elaborate on what you found.

I for one, am always interested in putting a nice wood stock on some of my favorite air rifles.

I'm looking at this stock from Ebay and it looks very nice, price is just about right, only thing is that some items in ebay will not allow you to be ship to Canada, even thou they are just in the states, I don't know if this is also the same as from other parts of the world like Thailand. I know some like scope from asia are not allowed, but I'm not buying a scope, I just want to know if there are restrictions for stocks, don't want to pay and find out later that the item is not allowed to be send to Canada.

Nice, but definitely commercial-looking - not a lot of big-buck character.

And $250+ CDN is big bucks for a $70 platform. (As if I haven't invested up to $600 on a 2240 carbine or two :roll: :wink: )

Well the way i see it, it only hurts once..... Thats what i told myself when i got joe hickey to build me a stock, and now i wish i would have had him build me one for each of my other crosmans...if you take good care of it, it will last a looong time and mabee even appreciate in value....

Agreed. Have two of Joe's stocks. They do have character, and worth every penny of $250, IMO. Not this one, again, IMO.

I wouldn't, couldn't make that stock for less than about $400.00.
Thus, $225 or $250.00 CDN is cheap for a walnut stock.
I do not like white-line, but that is a different matter.

Leadslinger gives best advice. I have imported a variety of wood products from e-bay but only via USA, never from overseas. I know ppl get problems at CBSA when returning from sun destinations with wood products, so it may not be a slam dunk from Thailand. Check this crap out

I've ordered wood stocks from China, no troubles at all and my shipment was inspected by customs.

Seeing how they have it in Mahogany as well I would say someone has a cnc at thier disposal.

To be honest, thailand is waaay ahead compared to canada when it comes to modding 2240s.....just check this one out, and thats not even near the top....ive seen some insane dragon carved into bullpup stock on a 2240....

I would be cautious importing mahogany due to the Restricted and Endangered Wood Species regulations our government has. I believe there may be 2 or 3 types of mahogany on the list but 99% sure walnut is not on the list.
