Pelgun oil is just dyed 30W non detergent oil. It's not good for the combustion chamber, because it can cause dieseling, and damage to the seals.

And the true chamber oil which is silicone oil and won't cause dieseling...

The term dieseling comes from the process of how a diesel engine functions. Cole Notes. The piston slams forward, it compresses the air, any combustible oils turn into vapor. When compressing air, heat is created and the vapors can ignite.

May do serious damage to seals, if done too often.

As explained in this short video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u8h3v5TbFTQ

Is said to also increase velocity.

I was told by the experts to use Crosman Silicone Airgun Chamber oil.

But not consistent , velocity will jump then drop and jump.... 'Power without control is nothing' ~ learned from the belly man, Michelin....

Just one two drops which will be 'consumed' out quickly... You can imagine you got a new springer and it's the breaking in period... When you don't hear the louder noise and see the smoke, it's done...
