Just picked up my CR600W CO2 .22 (Non PAL) from the post office.
Thanks Wes, fast shipping and well packaged!

There is one thing about it that has me a bit confused however...
Can anyone tell me what that big elongated hole is for??

If this is the same design as the Chaser, it's a very convenient thing that you can really see the co2 capsule you insert into the tube... Did you power it out and shoot it yet? ;-)

If in a case that your co2 capsule get stuck and you can push it out from this hole... If the 2240 had this design I don't need to use drill bits to take out the stuck co2 capsule last time....

Ahhh, that makes sense  Thanks!
I haven't charged it up yet, this one is actually a gift for my Dad who turns 85 this coming Saturday. My wife and I will be celebrating 29 years of wedded bliss the same day, so I bought myself the QB79D in .22 as well. Dad and I will be doing lot's of plinking on the outdoor range I'm building :D

:drinkers:
Cheers,
Geoff

Nice ~ congrats!

You don't really need to punch through the co2 capsule and can slide it in and out to see the result ~

Wierd that is the first one I've seen like that.. Mine has a hole on the bottom of the tube covered by the stock.

Yep, I was kind of thinking it was sort of an emergency pressure release in case of a seal failure but that would suck if you shoot lefty

[emoji38] Don't think that complicated ~ a leaked frozen cold co2 capsule won't need an emergency pressure release, but just be careful of the frostbite~

Interesting how my CR600W .22 cal CO2 air rifle, I bought from Wes last year does not have same hole.

BTW, great little air rifle. Shoots nice, very accurate, even with just open sights. Gets lots of shots (approx. 70) per CO2. And Wes is a great person to buy from. Prompt communication, great service.

Yep this is the new version with the window to show you if you have a cart in or not.

Does it mean these cannot be adapted to bulk fill, like you can do on the QB78?

The main tube isn't pressure sealed on these anyway so you wouldn't be able to even without the "window".
