Hi all,

I reached out to Umarex USA trying to get some intel on the new 2020 lineup. Specifically, I asked if they'll be producing any Colt Single Actions with barrels less than 5.5 inches. I was hoping for a 4 3/4 inch "gunfighter" or a 3.5" "shopkeeper/sheriff" model, but sadly they said, no.

Thanks for the info. Does that mean that they will no longer be selling the Ace in the Hole, with 3.5" barrel? Or just no new models?

Too bad about not issuing a 4&3/4" barrel gunfighter model.

The pocket Ace is not marketed as a Colt. It is part of the Umarex Legends line, and no, I haven't seen any in my usual haunts...

Sorry for the confusion, I'm assuming that they'll continue to produce the Umarex Ace in the Hole, just no "new" models...I was hoping for a 3.5-inch barrel single action with a non-removable front site, but no, at least not for 2020.

On the other hand, the folks at Bear River/Black Ops USA said they might be releasing a shorter-barell version of their Schofield - so fingers crossed on that.

FYI, the most recognized S&W No. 3 Schofield, used by the Schofield Kid (and by later by Clint Eastwood in his last gunfight of this last western, Unforgiven), had a 7 inch barrel.
