Thanks! As a reminder, and a note to those looking for a 22 cal, (all mine are spoken for) Raman at Canadashootingsupply.ca will also have a bunch of these pp750 in stock and he'd be happy to sell you one. (his are also in the same shipment, so are facing the same delays unfortunately)
Thanks,
Wes

For those that put down deposits I'll start sending invoices Monday, as I'm on vacation for a few days.
Thanks,
Wes

Lol! Well, I had another nasty surprise today, which seems to happen with this shipment every step of the way. I've been askifor tracking ever since they emailed me that it had been picked up and now today I found out it was lost! they could not figure out what happened to it. That started a flurry of investigations by me and the shipping broker and the shipping company, with lots of different stories. Some were saying it had actually been picked up but they lost it, others said no they tried picking it up 4 times but were rejected each time and the last time were told there was no shipment. I got ahold of the terminal lady in charge and she told me, no it's here but they keep giving me the drop off number not the pickup number so she would not release it. Was quite grumpy! I was able to quote her the proper number and she said today is the last day to get it or there is big fees. Well, seemed like she wanted to make sure they didn't get it. Meanwhile the shipping company is now thinking they've lost it somewhere on one hand or from a different person they told me that no they tried getting it but some other trucking company must have loaded it and took it.
Stressful!!
Anyway I explained that this lady seems to be the source of the trouble and that she said they gave the wrong number so she refused to acknowledge the shipment was there. I gave them the right pickup number, which they said they'd given her at least twice already but that they'd try again, but probably not today.
I called back the terminal a little later and the grumpy lady informed me that the truck was there right then and if they'd give her the right number she'd let it go. Then she hung up and when I tried both offices again they were both closed. So now we're left hanging til the morning, to find out if this was finally a success.
I sure hope so!!

I'm probably being too hard on this terminal lady, she's probably just trying to do her job.
Hopefully the shipment was released and is on its way. 8)

They released the shipment and the pickup was successful yesterday, so all is good.

Man the nightmares of shipping. I'm pulling my hair out sometimes dealing with some of these people.
I once had people argue with me that I should stop complaining and that my stuff would be on time.

Sir, your delivery date is the 19th, you'll get it on the 19th
I don't think you understand, not only did I not get it on the 19th, but I didn't get it on the 20th either! The 19th was 2 days ago, we're now the 21st
Sir, listen to me, maybe you did not hear me the first time, I said you will get it on the 19th

I didn't think someone could be that dumb, so I hung up on Mr. Doofus and called back and unbeliveably got a girl as dumb as he was. She said the same thing, and kept interupting me when I tried to tell her that we were now passed the 19th.

I don't think I ever spoke with people as dumb as these 2, trying to explain to adults how the days of the week and a calendar work and that you cannot go back in time yet.

Sorry Doc! I really did laugh out when I read your recorded conversation with the gentleman~

Just like I kept telling my customer we will close at 5pm, and he kept telling me back he's coming and will be picking up the stuff at 6.... When I waited to 6 and nobody showed up, called again and was told he will come the other day... After several times with different customers with the same issue we then changed our pickup time to 10am to 3pm ( although we actually opens from 8 to 5.... )

Not all ppl takes serious on the time like us....

= = =
Just hoping there will be no more hiccup on the PP750 shipment ~ I know many ppl have been waiting it so long.... Although not about me, I am waiting the other shipment to AGS for more than half a year already.... I am patient, but I hate waiting.... :drinkers:
