With all the new airguns out there becoming more affordable and advance, I'm just wondering if there are still love for the crosman (2240 and pumpers) and are you guys keeping it because of what reason? I still have my Crosman 1322 carbine,1740, 2240.

Still love? The Marauder is part of that plateform!
The 2240 is a great pistol for the money. Apart from the new Nemesis there's not that many cool CO2 plinkers.

Personnally the 1701P is still one of my favorite airguns to date.

I have a 2240, but Co2 sure suffers in the spring, fall, winter temps. Its nice, but if I bought another co2 pistol think the chaser is cooler. IMHO

I found the Chaser is a much better deal. Can be found for under 130$. You get a Co2 pistol that has a threaded 10" barrel, adjustable trigger, multi shot breech ( just buy a mag ) Dovetail rail, I found the stock mounting far superior.

To do a Crosman 2240 up to have all that, you're looking at over double, maybe triple. Only thing I didn't like about my Rebel ( PCP version of the Chaser ) was the plastic spring guide.

I hope the market stays strong for the Crosman 13xx and 22xx platform.

I just got a 1377 and am building it up slowly. So far it's interesting to be able to add a little bit at a time. The number of mods available reminds a little bit of the Ruger 10/22 or the Colt 45.

If it shows promise I will likely get a 1322 as well.

I have been into airguns since about 1994 and so far spring piston and multipump only. I haven't made to move into PCP airguns yet but probably soon I will.
