Hi folks, I recently bought a Gamo PT-85 and a Dan Wesson 715 4" revolver. I'm returning to the hobby after about 50 years, so I have some catching up to do! I want to leave a full cylinder in the gun ready to use, but I read the rubber seal can get damaged if it's left in, and this can't be fixed. What do you think, please. Thanks, Joe |

QP asked the same question a little while ago, not much has changed since then: topic85489.html? Basically safe to do it for a short time like a week, and also relatively safe for a longer time, like a year. |

Thanks Duke. I don't think I'll take any chances with the seals. I'd probably wreck the guns trying to replace them. Cheaper to replace cylinders. |
