Hi was wandering which slugs to order i have decided on nsa 17 grain for my bengamin cayden 22 after reading many posts and information but not sure what head size. Many people are saing with the 17 grain slugs in the cayden they like the .2175 head size best this is same as 5.52 metric what do you think thanks. Dont want to go to heavy as wont be shooting them over 100 yards and want a flat trajectory

The 17gr. should work. The problem with picking pellets, is you have to start somewhere and may have to go from there. The lighter the pellet, the more likely it will shoot faster, thus might be
better in a pellet barrel (slower rot).
I know that Hades pellets are not supposed to shoot well past about 60 to 80yards, but from my .25 Condor, they are quite accurate and consistent at 118yards, as I was easily picking off small rocks on the rear berm on the sil. range.
My muzzle vel. was 1,050fps with the 25.45gr. Hades.
That rifle and my .25 Dreamline both shoot the Hades well, for a hunting situation.
The .25 Aselkon shoots well with 33.95gr. Good thing I have lots of those.

Wow thats some awsome speed for those hades with your 25 condor Daryl
should be some high ftlds for sure, and if the nsa 17.5s in .2175 shoot good
out of the cayden they arent much more expensive than the jsb anyways.
only they come in a 400 pack not the 500 tin like the jsb,They work out to
$26.00 plus tax and shipping the jsb,s are the same.Look forward to seeing
the groups speed ft ldbs and penetration tests..Happy shootin buddy .

The Condor will likely do 1,200fps or close to it with the wheel(hammer spring) cranked up to the top.
At 9 (13max) setting the velocity was 1,140fps. That's 76.6 fpe.
A new tungsten hammer would increase the vel. more as well. This might be necessary for heavy slug shooting.
If they don't shoot, you can also put them up for sale or just keep them in case you get another rifle, or barrel.
