Had nothing to do with it. You can buy the exact same gun but its sold by Weihrauch under the name HW45.......https://dlairgun.com/collections/weihrauch-pistols |

No more new 45/P1 on the old black metal sights now... They changed to fiber optic sights for more than 10 years I think.... You may still have some chances to find the old but great used ones.... |

LOL~ that must be the last one in Canada~ I bought my HW45 in 2018 which is already using the fiber optic sight. |

Agreed I’m not a fan of fiber optic iron sights either. I had one of the older HW45s in .22 One of the first things I did was mount a red dot sight on the dovetail rail. Most of my air handguns have dots now. It’s really the best sight option and it doesn’t care if the iron sights are crude plastic. |
