This is the chart I have for right hand twist barrels.

This is what I experienced shooting JSB 7.87 pellets out of my Steyr in a very brisk right to left wind. Wind deflection was between 85 and 120 mm depending on gusts. The higher the wind the lower the pellet hit. The large cross at the top of the right hand target was the aim point.

Cool. That matches what I saw. What was the target distance? Thanks.

PS. 50yd. Now I see it. 120mm is 4.7". I got 10moa ish at 110yd, or 11".

The bend in flight definitely increases as the range increases and the pellet slows down. I can watch the pellet when I shoot the Steyr with thelizer. In the last 5 to 10 yards the pellet really moves.

Not good as it was hard on that sight's innards. The dot kept going out and the adjustment went screwy.
Off the gun, it seems to be OK, so I put it back on the PP700 and it's fine, again.
I've mounted a Discovery scope on the HW80 and will shoot it at the indoor range tomorrow. I hope that scope is better than the last
Discovery scope I tried on it. Had a lens inside turn sideways & I can't find the bill of sale for the ruined scope. I was sure it was supposed to be springer safe.
Waiting to hear from Gord if he needs a ride.
Yesterday, went up to 16 and sunny. Could have shot outside easily. So far today, only +3, but supposed to be 16 by 4PM.

Shooting went fairly well today, however the scoped rifle started stringing pellets. We were only shooting 50' indoors
and the groups with the pellets it likes, were in the 1/4" range, centre to centre. The scope wouldn't quite focus, although
it should have as the short range focal distance is listed as 15 yds. We were shooting almost 17 yards. I cranked the power
down to 6X and it was better of course.
Good shooting rifle.
I removed the scope and shot a group of .440" on centers with the rifle's iron sights, using 8.44gr. JSB 4.51mm Exacts.
I was disappointed in the vel., as they were doing only 860fps. That is somewhat slower than my shorter barreled HW97
in .177.
