Good morning, I'm new to airguns but not new to firearms and have a few questions. I have a NIB Weihrauch HW100 TL FSB 22 cal that has sat in my safe for the past 3 years and its time to start using it. When I bought it I also picked up a Hill MK4 pump to go with it and used it to charge the cylinder the other day and what a work out that is (I'm in my 70's) needless to say that is going up for sale as i have ordered a GX PUMP CS3 PCP Air Compressor for it. I'm trying decide what pellets or slugs to try and currently have the following - JSB Match 13.73 gr, JSB Exact 15.89 gr and Cometa Exact Jumbo Heavy 18.13 gr. Main use will be target shooting but could also include the odd tree rat or starlings hence the use of slugs. I have shot a lot 22 benchrest BR50 so I'm thinking this will probably be similar in trying different pellets to find the ones it likes. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks

I would bet on the Jumbo Heavy 18g among the above list...

And you could also try the Hades too~ the 16g Hades is accurate on many guns and as a hollow pointed design should work well on your tree rats too~

Well I've got some slugs on the way to try. Ordered some sampler packs of H&N slugs to try, .217 and .218 diameter. Slug weights are 21, 23, 25 .27 and 30 gr and there are 30 of each weight. Also going to find some Hades 15.89 gr to try.

The pellet that shoots best in 2 of my .22 cal. rifles is the JSB Hades. That model of pellet is also the best shooter in 2 of my .25 cal. PCP's.

JSB 15.9 and 18.1 shoot really well in my HW100, haven't tried the Hades yet.

The H&N Field Target Trophy 14.6 gr are also quite accurate.

I’m looking forward to trying the Hades from what I’ve seen on YouTube in pellet comparison testing.

Interesting thing about them on U-tube, is the U-tubers say they do not hold their accuracy past about 80yards.
On our outdoor silhouette range, I get excellent accuracy with them from my AirForce Condor in .25, right to 120yards.
I can keep them on the shoulders of the sheep silhouette swingers at 100 meters with that rifle & with my FX Dreamline,
also in .25.

That noted, they do not shoot well in my AselklonMX9 in .25. It very much prefers the 33.95gr. JSB Exact.

[emoji38] next time you can buy some more in a time so to lower the shipping costs...

Where did you buy it? If you used to JSB, our forum store has good prices and enough choices...

The add shows JSB .22 Hades, $17.00 for 500, but the tin shown only has 250 in it. Makes me wonder how much they actually are.
Is the 250 tin $8.50 or $8.95? That is doubtful.

Last time I bought 5 or 6 tins and they were all the 500 counts big tins... ( [emoji38] I never noticed the picture shows 250 counts~ )

Dan (aka Sniper) is the store owner and the forum store is located in Toronto area. To my experience, If you can find the supply in stock in the forum store, no need to think again to buy else where... No matter the rifles or pellets you get the best price here.

Register your user / account first. And when you place the order Dan will get back to you quick by email and let you know the total amount including shipping. Then I will EMT the amount and mention the order number on the EMT transition to ensure a smooth order being processed.

As I am living in Toronto area too. Usually I submit my order today and get the delivery to my door way the next day.
