Hey there, just joined the site. I live in AB, originally from the Boston area. I obviously like to shoot and I've always appreciated air rifles... What more can I say.
Unless you want the preverbal "I'm a libra and like long walks on the beach" crap. Haha
Cheers to everyone here!

It must be fate, Viratro; I too am a libra but merely wish there was a long beach anywhere in Alberta on which one could take long walks.

Welcome aboard, but seriously, I must know what brought you here from the beautiful east coast, a beautiful city, and mere spitting distance to Martha's Vineyard, not to mention many other vacationers' delights?

Another time perhaps. One thing you do have access to and would receive a great welcome from is a great bunch of air gunners who live and meet regularly in your new area. Contact Brian (rocker45 on this forum) for the lowdown on connecting with the group, who just this weekend had a shoot at the Calgary Gun Club, and, I believe is planning a similar shoot for early February. Many of the group's members literally surround you: Red Deer, Olds/Didsbury, Calgary, Innisfail, and beyond (I grab every opportunity I can to participate with this great group even from Edmonton (and I'm not alone). Just search for rocker45 and message him for more info. You'll quickly realize you're in air gun country here in Alberta.

Enjoy your stay, and please feel free to PM me if you have any questions.

Welcome to the CAF. Lots of great people that are more than willing to offer help.
As for the AIR F/T group.(Alberta's Informal Recreational Field and Target) There about 30 odd members on paper. Of which the is 8-10 dedicated. An average shoot yields 12-18 shooters, weather dictating.
Rocker 45 is the head promoter, pm him for a full detail as to shoots and such.
