Hi all, Solo here
Just got into the sport over the holidays. I have a 10yard range setup in my basement, and that's where I have been shooting. Rifle is Umarex Surge, loving it so far. Trying not to get ahead of myself though, been doing some research, and one can easily get caught up in numbers and hype. I am not into hunting, just hitting targets, that's where my fun is. So I joined this forum with hopes of learning more about this great sport and its tools.

Welcome. You'll find a wealth of information, suggestions and opinions here on pretty much all aspects of airgunning. 10m is great for those of us (including me...) who are space limited. Use the "Search" feature at the very bottom of each Forum section if you need something from past posts. I'd also suggest you read the Forum Rules section for valuable tips, and maybe update your profile for location, etc.(Personally, I live pretty close to Brampton, but most members might not know where it is...)
It's a great forum-by airgunners, for airgunners. You might want to stick around.

Family buy-in? Rejoice! The air gun world is yours.
As for the pellets, find yourself a milk can (dairy farmer size) and fill 'er up -- members who cast their own bullets are always looking for clean lead.
