Hi all. I am new to the forum.

Been living in Canada for the just under 3 years and am originally from South Africa. Have been shooting airguns since I was a child but have been doing a lot of airgun hunting for the last 15 years. I am very interested in rifle/pellet accuracy, pellet ballistics and love hunting at medium to long ranges.

I currently own a Daystate airwolf MCT which has been an amazing rifle, accuracy is sub MOA @100yards and I have easily hunted animals the size of coyotes. I have done little airgun hunting in Canada but hope that I can get some idea of the main species which are able to be taken with an air rifle.

Welcome Dr. Rob.
If you do a search and upload or download (whichever it is) the chairgun program, you can chose most popular pellets in whatever calibre
for their ballistics at any normal velocity.
For the larger bored and more powerful guns, perhaps this program will work better for you if shooting bullets rather than waisted (Diabolo) pellets.
I have found this program to work well to 1000 yards. It is very adjustable for ranges, B.C.'s velocities and atmospheric conditions.

Welcome! Is your Airwolf a .22 or .25 caliber? I think most guys would use a .25 or greater caliber on Coyotes, but sounds like you know how to hit where you are aiming with that gun =).
I think most people up here that use air rifles for hunting are shooting pest birds, gophers/Prairie dogs, rats, or rabbits and grouse. With all the big bore air rifles coming out, hopefully different provinces will start allowing bigger game hunting.
Coyotes are open season most places though and some municipalities even will pay you to shoot them if you bring in the tails. Beaver too.
