Hello everyone,

I have recently ordered a Weihrauch HW97.

I've been reading a lot regarding the disassembly of the rifle along with some problems getting it apart.
I just wanted to have a boo inside and relube it before using it a bunch while I contemplate trigger mods and tune kits and where to get them.
Its -31C here this morning and while the Weihrauch may be ready, I am not!

I wish I had kept the older pellet guns I had when I was a kid, but they seemed like a good trade for a newer baseball glove or road race set.
Where was my head at,

I will probably be asking for advice in the future,

Take Care,

Welcome to the forum!
If this is you're 1st airgun (in a while) maybe you want to have someone who's done it before with you for that 1st strip down... it would be a shame to mess up that new toy.

Personally, my vote would go to: Shoot it as is for a while... before tinkering with it.

Welcome fellow Edmontonian!
My first rifle was also a 97 but quickly became a closet queen.
Now she's in good hands.
