Hello all, newbie here.

I developed this new liking for air guns and have been watching some reviews/videos online.
I stumbled across this forum as I was trying to lean about regulations in Canada around BB guns, what's allowed vs what's not.
What I'm hoping to get from this forum is awareness and see where is it permitted to practice, where it can be carried and how.
Is this something that can be carries in a bag or not, say during a hiking on the trail?
Safe handling.

Etc. Etc. Etc.

The post that pulled me into this forum was following, as I was googling to know whether law required them to be stored in a locked safe inside house or not:
topic45335.html

Anyways, happy BB'ing folks. See you around.

Welcome! Sure here is a good place that you can find the answers to your questions ~

You might want to use the search function first to see if you can get any useful returns (usually do), then you can also ask the specific question with a new post and ppl will chime in to give you answers or finding the answers for you~

Initially, regarding the BB guns, I think they usually are replica airguns which the topic is hot due to the Bill C-21 recently...

Anyway, in general, you read the first reply to your quoted post, right? 'out of sight, out of mind', putting the wordings for the lawyers aside (like is a BB gun a firearm Etc), you can safely enjoy this great hobby between your friends or with your kids. Just handle it safely and it's nothing more special than riding a bike. But just don't do it in the public as it's not 20 years ago anymore... ppl just feels nervous and sensitive to a gun...

Welcome again and enjoy your stay!

Thanks! and yeah what you said makes sense that we can go above and beyond the legal requirements when it comes to safety.
