March of last year I traded an old classical guitar for a ruger airhawk with an old fella in my northern Alberta town. It was the first time I’ve fired an air gun since I was 14 and I was hooked again! Since then I’ve kept my eye out for pellet guns on the cheap or as interesting trades and I find more keep making their way into my greedy hands.

I’ve traded some computer work with the town mechanic for a Benjamin classic, found a bucket of disassembled pistols at a garage sale (and gleefully cleaned and put them together), picked up a couple at the local auction, not to mention keeping my eye on kijiji and the like for anything that piques my interest. Now I guess my final step into this being a full blown hobby is joining this forum, the archives of which have helped me a bunch already!

My starting the hobby was some kind of accident too! Some years ago, I browsed Walmart.ca for some body cream and found they sell MP5 online! And not a big money that going to empty my pocket, I grabbed one and memories so many years before all came back and I also completed my childhood dream about buying my own gun too~

Love this hobby and got much more than I expected ~
