Hi,
Does anyone have any experience with the 'Complete Valve and Piercing Inlet Block Assembly' from ScopesandAmmo that is intended for the earlier version 1 and 2 of the 357 revolver ?
The gun I have is not holding gas for more that 15-20 rounds  Because of the age (Colt Python 357-4'' with brown grips) I am assuming that it may not just be the inlet seal..but beyond as well into the Valve/Tubing assembly.
On the S&A website there's one person that commented (review) that it did the job for his gun. Apparently no special tools required.
Anyway...would like to hear other comments or experience before placing an order with Eric.
Cheers and thanks.

Go ahead and order, its an easy enough job. Or you can buy a whole new one for less than 50.00

OK...well I went ahead and ordered the Seal Kit. Arrived this week and proceeded to 'venture' into the 'action' of the pistol. The Kit came with no instructions :? .
I suppose for someone who had opened and toyed around with the working parts of the Crosman 357 and had some knowledge of the parts and their location that may not be visible to the eye at first glance...such as the nozzle spring for example  . Or how the trigger spring that needs to be placed up underneath and against the inlet valve!!!
Well...luckily I found a very useful YouTube video that goes through the complete step-by-step "rebuilding' of the 'old' version 357. I must admit this was a salvation to me. The reassembly procedure was very detailled with 'can't miss' advice, too.
Anyone interested...here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WsoWtGS3KD4

End result is this little 'revolver' now shoots like new and displayed some impressive power that could drive a Crosman Hunting Point pellet clean through a tin can cover at 20 feet indoors. I'm going to do some esthetic work on the frame and then she's a 'keeper'. :D
