Hey guys! Gerard has borrowed my Brocock Atomic which has a standard male foster fitting. His Gehmann pump has a female DIN 5 fitting which he thinks is 7/8" X 16tpi? We need some sort of adapter??? Have looked on the web using "Male DIN 5 to Female Foster" HELP! Thanks! |

On Rick's advice I emailed Best Fittings. Thanks 2240mod - I didn't see your answer here but it's a solid recommendation. The pump hose arrived very quickly, 4 days from paying the for it to the package landing in my front hall, all the way from the UK! I fitted it together with the Brocock-supplied quick release connector, threaded the DIN end into my FX pump, and was topped up to 200bar in about a minute. I'd actually figured out that I could put the QR connector directly into the pressure gauge location on the FX and plug in the Atomic pistol, then screw in a Pardini cylinder and pump them both to about 200bar at the same time, then take off the Pardini cylinder, then the Brocock. It worked, if awkwardly, but not trusting the tiny pressure gauge on the cylinder kept me from pumping it up enough. Now that I'm back to using the FX gauge I see the Atomic's velocity it topping out the way it's supposed to do. Anyway, very nice doing business with Best Fittings.
