2240 is good but you'll end up spending quite a bit on it.
my choice would be the QB79 8)
both guns are very mod friendly.
depends on your budget and how crazy you want to get.
Oh!! yeah one more thing welcome to the dark side they have cookies waiting for you

Well i know that sniper Dan from the Caf store carries the QB-78 and i don't think he has anymore 79's but you may want to pm him and ask.
http://www.airgunforum.ca/store/product ... ucts_id=30

You can also buy an adapter to run on the QB-78 but the reason i said the 79 is because it comes ready to mount a tank and I'm not sure how much you want to tinker around.

If he cant get them i know you can order one from Archerairguns.

Here is a nicely modded 78 :tonqe:

And if you get hooked and wanna have some real fun they sell a repeater breach for it.

again this is just my opinion.
anyways good luck have fun. :drinkers:

Unfortunately, Archer won't ship the repeater breech to Canada.

HiPac is probably the easiest way but like i said it depends how serious you want to get but just google search HiPac 2240.

They claim a muzzle velocity increase of over 100 fps, so they won't sell it to us.

The problem with converting a 2240 is that it can never be PAL legal because it is sold as a pistol and rated non pal. A HPA conversion is capable of 1200 fps in a 2240 but totally "ILLEGAL". I have mine converted just to save money by not having to buy Co2. If you convert, you still need a HPA pump + or - $300. Good luck.

wow 100fps must be more to the repeater breach than just being a repeater interesting :?

Well if i may say Joe you can still keep it under the 500fps level by chopping the hammer spring until it reaches under 500 and you will get i heck of a lot more shots.
Please correct me if I'm wrong Joe i haven't done a HiPac so I'm guessing here but i believe that would work.

Like i said to the OP it can get expensive going the 2240 way.
i still say QB-79

Save all the money from upgrades and just get a Brocock Atomic or Grand Prix! Both have iron sights that are adjustable!

I know I have easily spent $300 on each and every 2240-50-60 I have or have built for someone!

You are correct ACE but I didn't chop the spring just used a lighter one and a smaller transfer port. I still only get 40 shot,s even with a Hi-pac extension. But still cheaper than Co2 My Hi-pac has paid for itself ten fold in Co2 saving,s.
