I've seen 13CI tanks folks have regulated and made to fit into and through a skeleton crosman polymer stock.
Has anyone done it with a carbon tank? (or is it too bulky to shoulder)
Has anyone put an internal regulator into a hipac?

If you're talking carbon fibre tanks, they are typical much wider and higher volume than aluminum tanks and would probably be better as a replacement for the stock rather than an integrated part of whats left of the stock once you try to integrate it.

I think I would try to make it into a 2250AS set up. The tank attaches to the gun then a little tube comes out and goes back to the valve.
Gonna try that on the one 2260 I have as a parts gun. The other is going to be a Hi-Pac 2260.

Make sure your "little tube" and all the fittings are safe at the full pressure that the burst disc on the output side of the regulator is rated at.... A 2:1 safety margin is minimum, 3:1 is better....
