Post subject: Crosman Mk1 trigger pull

I have found that this Crosman Mk1 I have has a very fine trigger pull on the low power setting but good on the pull power setting. ideally I need to adjust this. I have turned the screw in and out but im not sure which way it should go to make the trigger heavy. im not sure turning it has much effect, or is there another screw?

What is it you're turning? Is there a horizontal screw just above and in front of the trigger?
If you have an adjustable power model, this screw will adjust is the preload on the hammer spring. The difference you feel is that, not so much an adjustable trigger. I've adjusted mine for best feel on low power. Turning clockwise, the screw adds more preload to the hammer spring. Start with the screw turned all the way out, then adjust to taste. It'll always feel stiffer on the high setting, because when you cock it to that point, the hammer spring is at maximum compression...
