Hello everyone.

I recently bought a Walther 1250 Dominator .22. Yesterday, I was trying to put back the rotary magazine, while I was holding the barrel skyward. After reinstalling the magazine, the lever did not get back to its initial place, though the magazine retainer slide seems to work perfectly. Now, the problem is that the rotary magazine is stuck and I cannot take it out, even when the bolt lever is fully pulled backward. I am afraid that more than one pellets are loaded and don't know what to do.

Any comments on this? How can I find what the problem is and troubleshoot it?

Hey all;

with using a little bit of brain, I solved the problem myself.

After scrutinizing the rifle and the magazine, it appeared that a pellet is stuck between the barrel and the magazine. Using a very thin blade, I managed to cut the pellet in half, resulting in the magazine to be released and easily eject from the body. Each two halves was easily removed then.

Though the problem is solved, I yet do not know the reason for this problem, since just holding the barrel skyward and installing the magazine can never result in this.

Any opinions?

Sounds like gravity to me! I'm not to sure how there magazine is designed but sounds like maybe the pellets are sliding in the magazine. If they are a rotatory mag using an oring to hold the pellet in the mag, try a pellet that heavier at its waist. This may allow the oring to have a hair more pressure on the pellet, reducing movent.

Just a thought!

Dear Knappr;

I tested the magazine and the pellets seem to be kept in place inside the magazine. I think this problem is caused by a malfunction in the bold lever.

I have had this happen with a Marauder clip and just took a long rod down the barrel and gently pushed the pellet back and was able to get the clip out.
