I have a 48 ci Guerrilla 3000 psi HPA tank leaking at the thread for the fill nipple.
I'm wondering how to go about sealing the joint, in particular how to remove the Foster fitting since it doesn't have a hex or flats. Should I just grind a set of flats? Advice on repair appreciated.

<edit> I think I can answer my own question, looks like an internal Hex in the foster. :lol:

Is that the same tank in the second pic I think it is if so the foster fitting is removed by an Allen key placed into the fitting and then simply undoing it, then just put some tephlon tape on the threads of the fitting since its just a verysmall leak, and you should be good.

Thanks all.
I spent the afternoon shooting the tank down to 1000 psi plinking outdoors (well I was just inside, but the targets were 30 yds away, outdoors) with my QB79 and my cleaned and tumbled Grizzly pellets. Now I can bleed of the remainder of the air and seal it up.

Update> I brought the HPA tank out again today and it was down to zero, although I had stored it at 1000 psi last Saturday. I removed the Foster, it had some hard loctite type compound on the threads, so I cleaned them all up and reinstalled it with a couple wraps of Teflon tape. Hand pumped it to 500 psi then took it to the paintball store for a fill to 2800 psi. It now passes the soap bubble test so I'll see if it is fixed for good. My other HPA tank has stayed constant at 2000 psi for 6+ months, and that's a good thing
