Spent all day tearing down the gun like it was an intricate Swiss watch meticulously paying attention to every slight detail.
The internals were almost as good as the outside! This gun IMO is very good quality and only needs a little love here and there.
All I did today was...
Polished the hammer face and sides
Polished the ends of the hammer spring
Turned out the hammer adj 3 1/2 turns
Oiled the hammer tube,Quattro trig, safety, cocking lever and bolt
Changed the orings on either side of the transfer port on the barrel cause they were cut and gouged from factory installation.
Also had to realign the transfer port on the barrel to the breach block. It was blocking by a fat 1/16"
There were no burrs inside this gun except for the hammer which I took care of.
Went ahead and removed both sights not only for scope positioning but for looks! I'm nuts about my new rig 8)

:D atta boy, clocking the valve port to breech was the best thing you could have done. IMHO enjoy your newly aquired gun :D

Thanks ww
I do have a question...
Why is that little Phillips screw in the hammer tube? To restrict hammer over push?

Yes it is a hammer preload adjuster.

I know about the hammer adjustment using a 4mm allen key. This Phillips screw I'm asking about is on the outside of the hammer tube part# 405 "hammer stop screw". I'm wondering why its there, seems to me its restricting the hammer from fully hitting the valve stem.

put this back in. It is the hammer stop screw . It will not hit the screw when fire but it holds the hammer in place. Take this out and you hammer flies out.

Thanks Alex :) I did not remove the screw so no problems. I'm new to the gun and just want to get to know it inside and out.

nice little tune up and maintenance job there. I have the gun but I have since built my own stock for it .looks more like an ar.adjustable butt stock, picatinni rails all around and the grim reaper pendants on the side. haven't don't any mods to it yet other than putting some rubber tubing in the cylinder to get rid of the pinging sound . works great.but I have noticed that it is shooting slower . the gun is 3 years old . would the hammer spring be getting weak . crono it last night and its only doing 650 with a 16 grain pellet.any help would be greatly appreciated . I would like to replace all the o rings on it as well. but were do I get them.cheers

Take the sizes of the O-rings from the parts list and go to hydraulic shop, they should have or be able to order the O-rings. They may give you a strange look and ask what you are working on as some of the o-rings are out of the ordinary.
