I emailed Daisy about getting a new metal lever for my Red Ryder and here's the parts list and order form they sent me. You can order every part for it and for a good deal, so I just thought I would share. It's great for those who want to rebuild old guns! :D

The only problem is that the shipping price on the form is for the US only. So if you don't live near the border or have friends over there, you may have to call Daisy and ask about shipping to Canada.

The order form shows both plastic and metal. I'm ordering the metal one. :)

The two may not be interchangeable depending on when the specific gun was built.

That being said, unless someone has an attachment to a specific gun, throwing money in parts and time on a $40.00 Red Ryder may not be for everyone.

Never thought of that! I hope the lever fits this model.

If it's that easy I would be very surprised! But I hope you're right! :D
