How do you remove the end cap that holds the hammer spring?

Also: Is there any reason to degas the Scorpion before adjusting the hammer spring tension?

Next question - what's the preferred method of applying the heat... To prevent damage to any internals?

Thanks! Thinking about adding a Huma regulator to the BSA Ultra SE and one of the adjustment steps is to remove rear cover.

Yes, comfortable with all the steps, except the 'heating' part... The Ultra is likely a shorter version of the Scorpion, similar action to the R10.
Huma has a decent description of the install procedures here:

Just found a simple little tool to aid the removal of the end cap on the XTX air site [I was referred to this company by Huma to order one of their regulators].

I did my Dynamax which is similar and didn't have to heat anything, just remove two screws, and cap came rite off.
