Put a Simmons 22Mag 3-9x32 AO scope on my Diana 24, and after shooting it for a bit I noticed the scope creeping. Yea I know the rings that came with the scope are cheap, and was advised upon purchase that better rings should be used.
The problem is not that the scope is moving on the rail,(which is what I expected) but it is moving on the rings. I did not want to crank down too hard on the scope but perhaps I should? Any advice? Thanks.

Thin two sided sticky tape.
Or high friction tape.

Fine grit sandpaper, 600 grit works great too.

I just got a set of rings from Eric for about $14. High mount with inserts that grip the scope tightly. Work great. http://scopesandammo.com/storefront/pro ... ings-p-364

I ended up getting a Leapers full length integral high profile mount from D&L and problems solved. :D
