Greetings all. It is my desire to obtain a 1322 and a 2240 Crosman from PyramydAir. I would also like to get a steel breech for each. Is this a difficult switch? And is there a chance Pyramyd would switch out the breeches for me?
I'm not lazy, I just have some nerve damage from a couple of back surgeries.
Thanks for your time. Hunter

I know that it is quite easy on the 2240 for sure. Just takes some hex keys, and maybe 10 minutes. There are plenty of Youtube videos like this one:

That give you the full instructions. It's not tough, but it's good to follow an order of operations. Once you've fully pulled apart your 2240 a few times, it becomes second nature.

You'll also need new rear sights as the stock sights don't fit the steel breech.

Are you located in the USA? If not, you may find it more cost effective to buy from one of the Canadian dealers. With the exchange rate and the tax/duties/brokerage/shipping fees buying from Pyramid adds up pretty quickly.

edit - and if you are in the states, you might want to check out the Crosman custom shop which provides a cost effective option for a customized 2240.

Before you order you need to check out the screw location..1377s have breech screws visible as you retract the bolt and for the 2240 it's the hidden type. Also most often you need to cut the length of the top rear screw, it's the one that goes thru the rear breech cap.
